A few minutes of preparation, so the session itself goes to what matters.
Prep checklist
The first item is the one that matters most. The rest is quick setup.
You don't need to arrive with a project. A good session can start with a single sentence: a project you're in the middle of, a report you'd like help producing, a question you've been sitting on, or simply, “Show me what this can do.” If what you have in mind is confidential, you won't need to send it to me — a stand-in works just as well.
A computer or tablet works best. A larger screen makes it easier to see Zoom and work in an AI app at the same time.
I usually teach with ChatGPT. Claude and Gemini are also good options, and the core skills transfer across all three. A free account is enough to begin; official links are on this page.
Headphones are optional but can reduce echo. We'll confirm that everything is working when the session begins.
I'll email you a Zoom link before the session. You can join in your browser or use the Zoom app if you prefer. Opening it a few minutes early gives us time to get settled and start the session on time.
